Privacy Policy

Version 2.1, effective September 20, 2026

What Katching collects about you and about your customers, why, for how long, who receives it, where it is stored, and the rights you can exercise.

Who is responsible

Noviantis Inc, a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Florida, United States, is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Write to hello@katching.ai for anything about it.

Registered office: 8400 NW 36th Street, Suite 450, Doral, FL 33166, United States.

What we collect

When you create an account: your email address, a hash of your password (never the password itself) or the identifier of your Google account, and the plan you chose, if you chose one from the pricing grid.

When you accept our terms: the identifier and the version of the document you accepted, the moment you accepted it, the language you read it in, your IP address and your browser identification. That record is what proves the agreement exists, and it is kept for as long as the agreement can be relied on.

When you sign in: a session record with its creation and expiry dates, your IP address and your browser identification, so that you can see and close your open sessions.

When you open a store: the answers of the setup wizard (the store name and address, its time zone, what you sell, your volume, your vertical, the brief or the page you asked us to replicate, the domain you chose), then the identifiers of your Stripe customer and subscription and the status of that subscription.

When we verify your email address: a one time link, valid twenty four hours, and the time it was used.

To protect the service: counters of some actions per account (domain searches, checkout sessions, address checks, retries), kept for one hour.

We collect no analytics on this site, and no advertising tracker runs on it.

What we read from your payment account

When you connect your own Stripe or PayPal account, Katching stores the keys or the connection token you provide, encrypted, and reads through them the connection status of your account, the payments, refunds and disputes tied to the orders of your store. That data is displayed in your dashboard and used by the engines to answer your customers and to prepare your replies to disputes. It is not sold and not used for anything else.

When you provide personal data in connection with Katching, Stripe receives that personal data and processes it in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy. PayPal does the same under its own.

On Katching Payments, when you activate it, Katching is your payment provider and reads more: the status of your connected account, its balances, its payouts, its fees, and the customer data attached to a payment that support and fraud prevention need. The full list, what it is used for, and the identity verification the processor carries out are in the Katching Payments Terms.

Why we use it

To open and keep your account and your store, to bill your subscription, to answer you when you write to us, to keep the service safe, to prove which version of our documents you accepted, and to run the engines of your store. Nothing else: no profiling, no advertising, no sale of data.

For how long

A session lives thirty days, or until you close it. A verification link lives twenty four hours. Action counters live one hour. An acceptance record lives as long as the agreement it proves can be relied on. Your account and its records live until you delete the account; the account is then marked as deleted and every session is destroyed, and permanent erasure is done on request by email. The data of a store lives until the store is destroyed; a destroyed store leaves no copy beyond the host's automated backups of the shared database instance, which expire within seven days.

Who receives it

The companies that host and run the service for us, each named with its country, its role and what it receives on the subprocessor page. They act on our instructions. Nobody else receives your data, except when the law requires it.

Where it lives

Noviantis Inc and its providers operate in the United States, and your data is stored and processed there. If you run your store from another country, your data leaves that country to be processed in the United States.

Your rights

You can read, correct and erase what we hold about you, and receive a copy of it. Your email address and your password change from the account page; everything else is done by writing to hello@katching.ai, and we answer within five business days.

The data of your customers

The customers of your store are your customers. Their orders, their addresses and their messages live in your store, you decide what is done with them, and Katching processes them for you and on your instructions. What that means, who our providers are and what we do to protect that data is in the data processing document.

Changes

When this policy changes, the new version is published here with its version number and its effective date, and the previous versions are listed at the bottom of the page.
