# A store that arrives ready to sell, with the pages Stripe asks for

Getting paid online has a step nobody warns you about. Your payment provider
looks at your store before it lets you take money, and it looks for things most
new stores do not have yet: a refund policy, shipping terms, a way for a customer
to reach you. Stores fail that look every day, and they usually find out weeks
later, in an email full of codes.

Your store now arrives with those pages already written.

**Six pages, written for your store, not for a template**

Terms of sale, refunds, shipping, privacy, legal notice, and contact. They are
written from what we already know about you: your store name, what you sell,
where you ship, the currency you charge in. They are real pages with your real
details, not placeholder text with blanks for you to fill in.

**When we do not know something, we ask you one question at a time**

There are things we cannot know. How many days a customer has to change their
mind. Whether you accept returns on sale items. Who pays return shipping. So we
ask, in your admin, one question per screen, with the reason in a single line and
a sensible answer already selected. You can take the suggested answer and move
on, or change it. You are never handed a blank page, and never a required field
without an explanation of why it is required.

**Your store tells you when it is ready, and what is missing**

There is a single readout for whether your store can sell. It names what is
still missing in plain words, with a link that takes you to the place where you
fix it. It refuses an incomplete store before your payment provider ever sees
it, which is the whole point: a refusal from us costs you a minute, a refusal
from them costs you weeks.

**The name on your customer's bank statement**

Your customer sees KATCHING followed by your store name on their statement. That
is now checked against the account itself after every change, not assumed. A
statement line your customer does not recognize is the most common reason a good
sale turns into a chargeback.

**Pages that keep up when we improve them**

When we improve one of these page templates, your page is republished with the
improvement, and it records which template produced it. Nothing is asked of you:
these are your own pages, not terms you signed.
